What Does the Bible Say About Beauty?
The Bible has much to state in what makes things beautiful in God's sight. It addresses every area of beauty as described in Webster's dictionary therefore: "1. That quality or aggregate of characteristics in a thing gives enjoyment to the senses or pleasurably exalts your brain or spirit; physical, moral, or spiritual loveliness. 2. A lovely thing or person, esp. a beautiful woman. 3. A specific grace, ornament, or excellence; anything beautiful; as the beauties of character." We'd do best for ourselves and others to start to see the things that are gorgeous in God's sight. It is interesting to notice that the term "beauty" is not within the brand new Testament and that "beautiful" is available only 4 moments in it.
